The successful candidates will work as part of a team, and with specific responsibility for developing and delivering fundraising and marketing projects and tasks to achieve income targets.
The team is particularly seeking to appoint two candidates who can each lead on one of:
– Bid writing and reporting: creating persuasive written applications for funding the charity’s services, and clearly presenting service performance data and reports to funders;
OR
– Managing the charity’s annual plan of events: to raise funds and publicise the charity’s work in the community
Additionally, candidates who may be able to contribute to the charity’s corporate fundraising objectives, by forming partnerships with businesses and other organisations, would also be welcomed.
Two candidates are sought for the team; with 1.6 full-time equivalent posts across two posts – therefore both full-time and part-time applications are welcomed.

While leading on a specific area of funding and marketing, the post-holders will also contribute to the overall workplans of the team.
The post holders will develop relationships and present to a wide range of audiences, including through giving talks and supporting social media content.
This post is advertised at a salary range, with demonstration of higher income generating skills and/or experiences qualifying for the higher end of the range.
A willingness to work flexible hours and occasional weekends is required. Access to a vehicle is essential, for which the appropriate mileage rate will be paid. The post is subject to a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. The successful candidate must be committed to the safeguarding of children and young people.
