Nelson’s Journey *Exclusive* Christmas Cards designed by Fiona Bishop of The Porch Fairies

We are delighted to have worked in partnership with The Porch Fairies to create a very special Christmas card that will raise valuable funds to support our work with Norfolk’s bereaved children and young people. The Porch Fairies have created a very special design that captures the magic of their illustrations but is also very relevant to the cause of Nelson’s Journey.

Fi Bishop of The Porch Fairies said “It was a privilege to work on this project, and the Christmas card we have designed exclusively for Nelson’s Journey this year is entitled “The Memory Tree”, appropriate to remember and reflect on those who are always in our hearts. As with all of our highly detailed and distinctive illustrations, you will see something new every time you look.”

This year, approximately 470 children, living in Norfolk, will be spending their first Christmas without a parent following their death. Regardless of whether the death of a special person happened recently or many years ago, Christmas is one of the most challenging calendar events for many bereaved families.

Each pack contains 5 cards and 5 purple envelopes. Each pack is £3.95 plus p&p.Funds raised from the sale of all these cards will be sufficient to fund two places on a therapeutic weekend for bereaved children which will provide them with the opportunity to meet others who have had a similar experience, remember the person that has died, express their feelings and learn coping strategies for when things are feeling particularly challenging in the future.
