What is the Rudolph Run?

Don(er) your reindeer antlers and Rudolph red noses and get together in December for the Nelson’s Journey Rudolph Run!

Your date, Your place, Your pace!

Walk, run or wheel your route on a date and time to suit you and raise some funds to support Norfolk’s bereaved children.

The Nelson’s Journey Rudolph Run is about having fun, getting some exercise and raising much needed funds to allow Nelson’s Journey to continue doing the work they do for Norfolk’s bereaved children.

How it works!

The Rudolph Run is all about children having fun as the excitement for Christmas starts to build, all while raising funds for Nelson’s Journey to help our work supporting bereaved children in Norfolk.

Your school chooses a date, time, distance and place that’s suitable for your pupils and the children raise funds by gathering sponsorship money. It is suitable for children of all ages and abilities. All it takes is a short walk, run, skip, wheel or even crawl!

We even provide you with a wonderful set of resources to download and use on the day.  Fun games, educational activities and crafts for all age groups.

Why hold a Rudolph Run?

Nelson’s Journey has spent the past 26 years supporting Norfolk’s bereaved children and young people.  With no government support, we rely solely on the amazing support of our donors and fundraisers to keep us going.  Campaigns like the the Rudolph Run not only help to raise vital funds that we need to continue the work that we do, but also to increase brand awareness and make sure everyone has heard of Nelson’s Journey and the important work that we do.

From £5 for a memory jar to £300 for a residential weekend, every penny you raise goes towards supporting children and young people within our care. Never underestimate the difference a few pounds can make!

Start your fundraising here!

The easiest way to get your fundraising started is to set up a JustGiving page. Donations can be made quickly and securely online.

Use the link  to JustGiving, and click ‘Start Fundraising’ to get started. You will then be able to set up your own page for your Rudolph Run that you can share with others.  Click here for JustGiving.
