Get together with your family and friends to remember your special person at our annual Walk of Smiles. This year we have two brand new walking routes, you can choose from either a 2 mile or a 2.75 mile and then join us at the finish line where there will be fun activities for all the family to get involved with!
Event Details
Date: Saturday 14th June 2025
Times: 10am – 2pm (walk starting at 11am)
Venue: The Octagon Business Park Grounds, Little Plumstead, Norwich, NR13 5HR
Activities include:
- New for 2025 walking routes, you can choose from either a 2 or 2.75 mile route
- Fundraising games and activities
- Raffle and tombola
- Refreshments and BBQ or you are welcome to bring your own picnic
- Free arts and crafts
- Bring your own teddy or soft toy for a little pampering at our Teddy bear TLC
- Meet the Pets as Therapy dogs
- Fun dog awards
- Opportunity to remember your special person.
Access: The 2 mile walk is pushchair and wheelchair friendly however, there are some areas of the venue with uneven terrain, which may restrict access for guests in wheelchairs.
Sponsorship: All walkers are invited to raise sponsorship for Nelson’s Journey, this will help us continue our work supporting children and young people who have experienced a bereavement.
This event is OPEN TO ALL, not just those who have used the services of Nelson’s Journey. Well behaved dogs are welcome but MUST be kept on a lead.
