Get together with your family and friends to remember your special person at our annual Walk of Smiles. Choose from either a 2 mile or a 2.5 mile walk and then join us at the finish line where there will be fun activities for all the family to get involved with!
Event Details
Date: Saturday 14th June 2025
Times: 10am – 2pm (walk starting at 11am)
Venue: The Octagon Business Park Grounds, Little Plumstead, Norwich, NR13 5HR
Activities include:
- A choice of either a 2 or 2.5 mile route
- Fundraising games and activities
- Raffle and tombola
- Refreshments and BBQ or you are welcome to bring your own picnic
- Free arts and crafts
- Bring your own teddy or soft toy for a little pampering at our Teddy bear TLC
- Meet the Pets as Therapy dogs
- Fun dog awards
- Opportunity to remember your special person.
Access: The 2 mile walk is pushchair and wheelchair friendly however, there are some areas of the venue with uneven terrain, which may restrict access for guests in wheelchairs.
Sponsorship: All walkers are invited to raise sponsorship for Nelson’s Journey, this will help us continue our work supporting children and young people who have experienced a bereavement.
This event is OPEN TO ALL, not just those who have used the services of Nelson’s Journey. Well behaved dogs are welcome but MUST be kept on a lead.
