Get together with your family and friends to remember your special person at our annual Walk of Smiles. You can choose from two walking routes, either a 2 mile or a 2.75 mile and then join us at the finish line where there will be fun activities for all the family to get involved with!
Event Details
WHERE: The Octagon Business Park Grounds, Little Plumstead, Norwich, NR13 5FH
WHEN: Saturday 20th June 2025, 10am-2pm
- 10am – 10.50am – Arrival, registration and time to grab some refreshments or play on the fete games.
- 10.50am – 11am – We take some time to remember.
- 11am – 12pm – The walk commences. Non walkers are welcome to stay at the Octagon Park and enjoy the activities.
- 12pm – 2pm – Join in the family fun afternoon
WHO: This event is OPEN TO ALL, not just those who have used the services of Nelson’s Journey. Well behaved dogs are welcome but MUST be kept on a lead.
PRICE: Pre-booked general entry £3.50 (£5 on the day) – under 3’s go FREE
ACTIVITIES:

- Bring your own teddy or soft toy for a little pampering at our Teddy Bear TLC

ACCESSIBILITY: The 2 miles walk is pushchair and wheelchair friendly however due to some other areas of the venue having uneven terrain this may restrict access to guests in wheelchairs.
SPONSORSHIP: All walkers are invited to raise sponsorship for Nelson’s Journey, this will help us continue our work supporting children and young people who have experienced a bereavement.
