Where can you hold your Purple Picnic?
The sky is the limit – hold it ANYWHERE!
The park, the beach, the back garden or the staff room are just a few of the places people have held Purple Picnics in previous years. Wherever works for you and your fellow picnickers, grab some picnic blankets, games and delicious food and make it memorable.
If you are unable to get together in person, why not hold a digital picnic? With technology being so advanced, it can almost feel like you are in the room together, even if you are miles apart.
Wherever you choose to hold your picnic, be sure to take plenty of photos and share them with us online. We want to see and hear all about your amazing fundraising efforts.
Why hold a Purple Picnic?
Your donations help to change the lives of children and young people across Norfolk
Nelson’s Journey has spent the past 26 years supporting Norfolk’s bereaved children and young people. With no government support, we rely solely on the amazing support of our donors and fundraisers to keep us going. Campaigns like the Purple Picnic not only help to raise vital funds that we need to continue the work that we do, but also to increase brand awareness and make sure everyone has heard of Nelson’s Journey and the important work that we do.
From £5 for a memory jar to £300 for a residential weekend, every penny you raise goes towards supporting children and young people within our care. Never underestimate the difference a few pounds can make!
The easiest way to get your fundraising started is to set up a JustGiving page. Donations can be made quickly and securely online.
